Jennifer
Jennifer L. F. McNichols is an analog photographer who mourns the loss of Polaroid and prefers records to CDs but somehow got enmeshed in this digital blogging world. She is also a co-founder and editor of the ZRecs Network, and spends much of her free time photographing, researching for ZRecs, and playing with her supremely fabulous daughter, Z. If free time existed beyond those three things, Jennifer could be found teaching herself to sew, brewing beer and wine, traveling, and watching TV.
Jeremiah
Jeremiah
Jeremiah McNichols has worked in print and web journalism, instructional design, and webdesign, and co-edits and publishes the blogs of the ZRecs Network. His most recent project is the launch of Bloggy Sabi, a matchmaking service for bloggers who review products and the PR reps who seek them out.
Joshua
Joshua
Joshua lives in Seattle with his wife, kids, cats, and chickens. He wants to turn his small urban lot into a farm. Joshua recently left a career as an architect to make radio, of all things.
Leigh
Leigh
Leigh lives, works, gardens and keeps a small flock of chickens at her continuously renovated funky bungalow in Missoula, Montana. She is thwarted annually by the Montana climate in her attempts to grow an excess of basil, yet somehow always has a stunning surplus of parsley. She has two vegetable plots and several native wildflower gardens, as well as some overgrown lawn and a giant plum tree. Her husband, son, and mutt provide lots of moral support, and some occasional hole digging, to keep the gardens looking good. Also, she is pretty sure that her dog is cuter than Daisy's dog, but Daisy might disagree.
Virginia
Virginia
Virginia lives in Seattle with her husband and baby girl, bought a house a year ago, and has realized that this whole gardening thing is a pretty good idea. She's a complete newbie and is experimenting with veggies in a raised bed, herbs in pots, and a whole bunch of natives planted around the perimeter of her tiny urban backyard. Virginia makes her living as an editor at an environmental consulting firm where she translates engineering-speak and scientist-ese into everyday English.
